Being obese or obese is a major risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes but weight loss through lifestyle interventions can markedly reduce its occurrence. The Internet provides a chance of the development and implementation of lifestyle involvement programs that promote self-managed behavioral change. We developed an internet weight loss program emphasizing physical exercise and dietary modifications, and conducted a short-term qualitative evaluation from it, examining participant recruitment from the general public, website usage and satisfaction and use of self-reported health risk appraisal records.
One of the major public health issues is to encourage participation in programs for weight management that will produce effective and long-term improvements in health results, particularly a lower life expectancy risk for type 2 diabetes and coronary disease. Did the program produce changes in self-reported health behaviors? Does the planned program to create a change in self-reported health position? Were participants’ content with the efficacy of the web delivery of a program? Do the results warrant a more substantial more descriptive trial? The exercise or weight-loss programs were predicated on the individual’s health status (as determined from medical risk appraisal) and personalized by using purpose built software to meet the goals and needs of individual participants.
These Internet-based applications to match appropriate foods or exercises to a series of participant reactions to standard questions that fast users towards an application that suits both their needs and current health position. The diet and exercise organizers are unique in that they deliver individualized programs rather than ‘one-size-fits-all’ programs.

An article provided by Diabetes Australia-Victoria and published on their website introduced this program and provided a primary link for potential participants which required them to the program trial website developed and managed by the F2L. All participant-entered data from F2L’s password protected ‘Health and fitness record’ (WR), plus participant created diet and exercise programs, were stored securely on F2L’s database, and covered using 128-bit SSL encryption technology. No data by which an individual might be determined is utilized in this report.
All individuals who undertook the weight-loss program were invited to provide reviews of their experience of the program via an online responses questionnaire. Unlike the WR, which must be completed at least one time for basic safety and service accuracy, use of the feedback survey was not mandatory. The individuals were asked to comment on the factors that inspired them to come back to the website and exactly how often they utilized interactive and non-interactive services.
